Setting Up Services
Create bookable service listings so customers can find and book your garage services online.
What Are Services?
Services are bookable offerings you provide at your location — MOTs, tyre fitting, car servicing, bodywork, window tinting, and more. Customers can book directly through VeFix.
Creating a Service
Go to Services → Add Service in your dashboard. Fill in:
- Service Name — Clear and descriptive, e.g. "Full Car Service — Major"
- Category — Choose from MOT, Tyres, Bodywork, etc.
- Description — What's included, how long it takes, any requirements
- Price — Fixed price, or use "From £X" for variable pricing
- Duration — Estimated time in minutes (used for booking slots)
Availability
Your service availability is based on your vendor opening hours. Each booking blocks out the required duration in your calendar. You can view and manage all upcoming bookings from the Bookings section of your dashboard.
Vehicle Compatibility
Just like products, you can specify which vehicles a service applies to. For example, an "EV Battery Check" service can be restricted to electric vehicle makes.
💡 Tip: Services with clear pricing and detailed descriptions get significantly more bookings. Customers want to know exactly what they're getting before they book.
